As part of our partnership with the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum (CAFM), Skinny Cow celebrated National Ice Cream Day at the Museum’s annual Ice Cream Festival that took place in Ottawa on Sunday, July 21.
Skinny Cow presented the family friendly event and a record breaking crowd of over 2700 were treated to Skinny Cow frozen desserts and discovered more about the Skinny Cow brand.

At the Festival, visitors learned about the journey from the cow to cone and had the chance to try their hand at milking the Museum’s wooden cow, Vanillie, and making their very own gelato, frozen yogurt and ice cream creations with an old-fashioned manual ice cream maker. Many other activities like horse and tally-ho wagon rides, cow milking and cow care demonstrations and animal barn tours took place throughout the day’s festivities. Guests also brought out their dancing shoes and joined the musical group, the Fiddleheads, for some traditional fiddling music.
