Nestlé Canada is pleased to continue to support Toonies for Tummies and all efforts to raise funds and awareness for student nutrition in Ontario.
Hosted by The Grocery Foundation, the campaign helps support school nutrition programs, which provide over 1.7 million nutritious snacks and meals to school-aged children across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Their goal is to raise $850,000 during this two-week campaign, and 100% of proceeds raised from #Toonies4Tummies remain in the local community.
Toonies for Tummies runs February 9 – 23 in more than 350 grocery stores across Ontario including Metro, Food Basics, Longo’s and participating independent grocery stores and markets. In western Canada, visit over 150 Save-On-Foods stores. All donations benefit local student nutrition programs in the communities where the donations are made. You can also donate online or help by purchasing select products from sponsoring brands, including Nestlé’s Carnation Breakfast Essentials.
Using the “Toonie Tracker” on www.tooniesfortummies.ca, donations can be tracked with a postal code and the impact on local programs can be seen.
