Nestlé Waters Canada delivers Clean Drinking Water to Communities in British Columbia

Nestlé Waters Canada delivers Water to Communities in BC

Upon news of rapidly spreading wildfire in British Columbia, several employees from Hope, B.C. reached out to organize a donation to local evacuees and emergency responders. British Columbia is currently under a state of emergency and has more than 200 fires burning across the province.

The Nestlé Waters Canada team was able to organize and execute an emergency donation in less than 24 hours. There was some difficulty getting transportation on Saturday, but after reaching out to our partners, Bulldog and Sons Transport, they were very happy to help and was able to find drivers available to take the loads.

So far, Nestlé Waters Canada has donated 52 pallets of 35 pack Nestlé Pure Life. This works out to be just over 98,000 bottles of water, which was delivered to 100 Mile House and Williams Lake in British Columbia. This could not have been done without the employees in Hope who reached out to initiate the donation and have been amazing organizing everything on the ground. We are also grateful for Bulldog Sons and Transport who provided multiple trucks and drivers to ensure the water was delivered.

We continue to closely monitor the situation and remain in contact with the Red Cross. For more details on the current wildfire situation, including road blocks and closures, please check here.
