With a rise in consumer demand for locally prepared product we’re proud at Nestlé Canada that our Nestlé minis are prepared right here in Canada. Our Toronto-based factory, employing around 550 employees, prepares our Nestlé minis – KIT KAT, COFFEE CRISP, AERO and SMARTIES – ensuring the highest standards of care and quality are met. Whether it’s the crispy wafers, light airy bubbles, coffee crème or colourful candy-coating, Nestlé Minis are produced in a peanut-free facility, right here in Canada.
When you see ‘Peanut Free’ on the front of all Nestlé minis, it identifies that the products are produced in a peanut-free facility. Assuring our products are made in a peanut-free facility means that our facility has rigorous quality control processes in place to ensure its peanut-free status. Additionally, Nestlé Canada is a proud supporter and founding partner of Food Allergy Canada (formerly Anaphylaxis Canada), an organization dedicated to informing, supporting, educating and advocating for the needs of individuals and families living with life-threatening allergic reactions, or anaphylaxis.
