Name: Angelica Victoria
My career at Nestlé started when I was a Supply Chain Intern, working on a Customer Collaboration pilot project. When this project proved successful at the end of my term, I was asked to come back on board as a Customer Replenishment Analyst to continue working on the project. After some time in that position, I transitioned into the Cross-Functional Trainee Program that continued to challenge me and help develop my career.
Position: Assistant Marketing Manager
Years with Nestlé: Over four years
One motivating challenge of working at Nestlé is learning how to work in such a dynamic business environment. There are many moving parts that all need to work together to achieve a common goal, and it’s great to be part of a company that knows the value of adaptability and agility. There’s never a dull moment here, as everyone seeks to continuously improve the work they do.
Originally, working at Nestlé appealed to me because of the chance to be part of a global company. I liked the idea of being a part of an organization that could expand my curiosity to learn about various facets of business, with the potential to move into different fields, functions, or markets in the future.
One of my favourite things about working at Nestlé would be the people: there are so many great people with such varied backgrounds, skill sets and expertise, and I learn from these amazing people every day. I find everyone is willing to share their experience and looking to make a difference, which contributes to a very positive work environment. I also really appreciate the welcoming and supportive culture that I found in a lot of my colleagues and teammates. This has enabled me to feel confident in suggesting ideas, allowing me to grow in the organization, and in the process, I’ve met great mentors and friends here at Nestlé.
