Nestlé Canada has been named one of Canada’s Top Foreign Corporate Citizens by Corporate Knights Inc.

“We’re very proud to be named one of Canada’s Top Foreign Corporate Citizens,” says Shelley Martin, President and CEO, Nestlé Canada. “It’s a true honour to be recognized for the work we do every day to help Canadians live happier and healthier lives. “

Canada’s Top Foreign Corporate Citizens represent corporations with substantial operations in Canada who are leading the way on corporate citizenship and have their main headquarters based in another country. In order to qualify, companies must be listed on the Financial Post 500 and rank among the top 10 per cent of 4500 global companies according to the Global Sustainability Research Alliance, the world's largest sustainability research consortium.

“Creating Shared Value is at the heart of how we do business at Nestlé Canada,” says Martin. “In order to create long-term value for shareholders, we also have to create value for society.  We work hard to ensure that our activities preserve the environment for future generations.”
