Explore the 56 best social innovations shortlisted for Nestlé’s 2018 CSV Prize

Nestlé’s 2018 CSV Prize

We are excited to announce the semi-finalists for Nestlé’s 2018 Creating Shared Value Prize

From over 1000 entries, 56 applicants have now been shortlisted. Working in countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, they each seek to address a growing need for good nutrition, safe water and economic opportunities.

The prize – established eight years ago – supports social entrepreneurs tackling the world’s biggest issues in nutrition, water and rural development. Winners receive crucial funding to scale up their initiatives and make a lasting impact on people’s lives.  For this year’s prize Nestlé is partnering with Ashoka, the world’s leading network of systems-changing social entrepreneurs. Together they are looking for the next big social innovation that will create the most value and make the most difference to today’s society.

Five finalists will be chosen to pitch their ideas at the 2018 Creating Shared Value Forum in Brazil. The winner will be announced on March 16 and receive prizes totalling CHF 500,000 (approximately CAD 645,000) to help develop their initiative.

Follow the pitches and winner announcement live on Facebook on March 16.
