Nov 7, 2013

Gerber ArrowrootThe newest Nestlé Gerber product to launch in Canada is an Arrowroot Biscuit created with little hands – and tummies – in mind.  Thanks to their fun, easy-to-hold shape, these biscuits are great for little ones learning to self-feed.

The biscuits dissolve quickly and are easily mashed with or without teeth, making them easy to chew and swallow.  Moms will love that they’re made with no artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.

A snack that’s easy for toddlers to hold

As Nestlé Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits were designed for little hands, the dimensions, circular design and finger-sized hole to allow for a multitude of grasps while your toddler learns how to self-feed.

Toddlers may be ready for Arrowroot Biscuits around 12 months old when they:

  • Stand alone and begin to walk alone
  • Feed themselves easily with fingers
  • Use their jaws to mash food with gums
  • Bite through a variety of textures

Portable biscuits - an easy addition to any toddler’s snack repertoire!

These travel-ready biscuits are also ideal for strollers or diaper bags. They’re great for on-the-go snacking too, with approximately 30 biscuits per 155g bag, which has an easy-to-reseal pouch.

You can now find Nestlé Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits in the baby aisle of major retailers across Canada.
